aelf Extends its Mainnet Token Swap to March 9th, 2022

Based on the requirement from ELF holders and the updates of aelf ecological development plan, aelf determined to extend the token swap period to March 9th, 2022 12:00 A.M. (GMT+8). During the new period, ERC20 and BEP20 ELF holders are able to swap their tokens to mainnet ELF tokens at the rate of 1:1 on aelf official token swap website.

The coming year is a critical period of aelf ecological explosion and there will be increasing using scenarios of mainnet ELF tokens with greater demand. In line with our roadmap, aelf has gradually extended the node election, hackathons, sidechain auctions, and many other activities, where mainnet ELF tokens could be used by all the DApps for tx fees; node candidate staking; voting vouchers; and many more.

As more tokens migrate to aelf mainnet, the circulation of ERC20 and BEP20 tokens may get difficult in the future. aelf encourages token holders to complete mainnet token swap and to participate in aelf mainnet ecological building. In the meantime, aelf team will carry forward the optimization and upgrade of the mainnet to embrace the coming ecological explosion.
