aelf prepares $680k prizes plus laureate NFTs for Metaverse pioneers

Since Facebook’s re-name announcement, the Metaverse concept has been sweeping the whole tech industry. Blockchain as the underlying technology of Metaverse has received unprecedented attention from researchers and practitioners from all over the world. As one of the pioneers of the blockchain industry, aelf is glad to announce its first metaverse-themed hackathon — Top of OASIS. Collaborated with DoraHacks, the hackathon will gather talented enthusiasts and developers from all over the world to explore the developing directions as well as the landing potentials of the era of the metaverse.

aelf facilitates the most user-friendly blockchain system with diversified business scenarios to face the great need for metaverse-related developments. Specifically, aelf is an underlying blockchain infrastructure with multi-level mainchains and sidechains, which enables unlimited scalability and ultimate TPS. As blockchain plays a critical role in the development of metaverse derivatives, aelf will provide a natural incubation soil for the development of metaverse projects.

Note:
- Arcane is an NFT series of aelf. It will be rewarded to developers who have made special contributions to aelf’s ecological construction. In line with our subsequent layout, aelf will grant critical rights to developers who own the Arcane NFTs. The corresponding rights could be transferred together with the ownership.
- Every individual or organization that has uploaded the qualified project will be rewarded with a $100 prize and souvenir NFT — Sunstrider.
- 100,000 US dollars equivalent ELF will be added to the community’s quadratic funding prize. Specific distribution will be subject to the result of voting.
