As co-hosts of the Web3 Gaming Summit, we made our mark with two gripping speaking sessions and an engaging booth at the side event. One of the panel discussions also marked the first public appearance of Project Schrodinger, a blossoming AI project in the aelf ecosystem. As the title sponsor for the Grand Party with ABGA, aelf brought the house down with an unforgettable evening of networking and celebration. The Web3 Gaming Summit 2024, held on April 8, 2024, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, was a resounding success. Co-organised by event partners ABGA and ICC, aelf played a pivotal role as a co-host of the summit, which unfolded at substage 1 of the main event venue. Our participation was dynamic, featuring two compelling speaking sessions and an engaging booth within the side event.
Khaniff Lau, our Business Development Director, delivered a keynote presenting how aelf blockchain can revolutionise Web3 gaming, with insights from players and developers. He highlighted aelf’s scalability, operability, and security, making it a preferred choice for developers. He also emphasised aelf’s developer support, promising a revolution in Web3 gaming and enhanced experiences for all. At the panel discussion moderated by Denzel Lim, Business Development Associate at aelf, the topic of “Does the Future of Web3 Gaming Require Supportive Ecosystems?” was explored. Panellists were founders of projects under the aelevate grant program, including Steven Cao, Founder of GaFin; Chris Chodakowski, Founder of Wizarre Stormfights; and John, Founder of Project Schrodinger, who delved into various aspects of Web3 gaming. They discussed the defining characteristics of Web3 gaming compared to traditional models, the challenges faced by Web3 gaming studios, and the role of supportive ecosystems in overcoming these challenges. The conversation also touched on emerging trends and challenges in the future of Web3 gaming and how supportive ecosystems can help navigate them. Additionally, the panel explored blockchain technology’s and decentralised mechanics’ contributions to the evolution of gaming narratives and experiences.
At our aelf booth, we sparked dynamic conversations and connections with attendees, delving into topics ranging from the future of blockchain to the latest in Web3 gaming.
